Good Morning Coaches and Managers,

First please let me introduce myself, my name is Tina Moriarty and I am the new webmaster for WHK.  For the remainder of the year and my term, I would like to create more traffic to our site, Facebook and Twitter by our membership, friends and family.

One of the ways I think this could happen is with the support of the coaches and other board members.  If you are aware of an interesting story, a play-off win, a big event coming up for your team please email that to me at  It might be something quick that get's tweeted about or posted to Facebook or it could end up as a news story on the website.  Pictures are welcome!!!!!!

One of my goals for next season is to set up Instagram too so the more pics the better.  (Just remember to provide me a caption so I can use it when posting).

Thank you for your help.  Good Luck to those of you still in the playoffs and remember to let me know some news after your games!!!

Go Hawks!!!!!

Media file Skating Drills-  FACE FWD CIRCLES– 3 at a time, pivot from FWD to BWD and BWD to FWD at the tops and bottoms of both F/off circles, then up the boards and across the red or blue line stopping at the boards. Big Overspeed can follow this as a way back to starting point. BIG OVERSPEED– 3 at a time, skate towards diagonal F/off dot and turn in direction of the goal line then stay outside remaining 3 F/off dots crossing over at a high pace until they reach goal line.
